  • Understand how visitors use our Site so we can improve content and performance
  • Maintain the security and operation of the Site

We do not sell your personal information. We do use advertising cookies from Meta (Facebook) and LinkedIn to measure and improve our marketing, as described in Section 4.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our Site uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — and similar technologies to operate the Site, understand how it is used, support embedded content and forms, and measure our marketing. A full, regularly updated list of the cookies and third-party services used on our Site is available in our Cookie Policy.

a. Analytics Cookies

We use Google Analytics and Independent Analytics to collect anonymized data about Site traffic and usage patterns. Google Analytics may use cookies to track visits. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

Independent Analytics is a privacy-focused, self-hosted analytics tool. It does not share your data with third parties.

We also use HubSpot to understand how visitors interact with our Site and our marketing content, and Cloudflare to help secure the Site and measure its performance.

b. Advertising and Marketing Cookies

We use the Meta Pixel (Facebook) and the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure the effectiveness of our advertising and to reach people who have visited our Site. These services may set cookies and collect information such as pages visited and actions taken on our Site, and may combine it with information they hold about you, according to their own privacy policies:

You can manage how these platforms use your information for advertising in your Meta and LinkedIn account settings.

c. Embedded Video Content

Our Site may embed videos from YouTube or Vimeo and “Add to Calendar” tools from AddEvent. When these load or you interact with them, those third-party platforms may set their own cookies and collect data according to their own privacy policies:

d. Managing Cookies

When you first visit our Site, we display a notice about our use of cookies. You can block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings; note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of some features on our Site, such as forms and embedded videos. See our Cookie Policy for the full list of cookies and services we use.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process data on our behalf:

  • Google Analytics — website traffic analytics (Google LLC, USA)
  • Independent Analytics — privacy-focused self-hosted analytics
  • Akismet — spam detection for contact form submissions (Automattic Inc., USA). When you submit our contact form, your submission data — including name, email address, message content, and IP address — is transmitted to Akismet’s servers for spam evaluation. Akismet’s privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/
  • YouTube / Vimeo — embedded video content
  • HubSpot — marketing analytics and customer relationship management (HubSpot, Inc., USA). When you submit our contact form, your submission is also sent to HubSpot so we can respond to and manage your inquiry. HubSpot’s privacy policy is available at https://legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy
  • Meta (Facebook) and LinkedIn — advertising measurement (Meta Platforms, Inc., USA; LinkedIn Corporation, USA)
  • Cloudflare — website security, performance, and analytics (Cloudflare, Inc., USA)
  • AddEvent — “Add to Calendar” functionality

These third parties have their own privacy policies and data practices. We encourage you to review them. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

6. California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) may provide you with additional rights regarding your personal information.

a. Your Rights

California residents have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, or sell
  • Request deletion of personal information we have collected from you
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, including sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising (note: we do not sell personal information)
  • Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights
  • Correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you

b. How to Submit a Request

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the information in Section 13 below. We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days as required by law.

c. Do Not Track & Cookie Preferences

California law requires us to disclose how we respond to Do Not Track (DNT) signals. Our Site does not respond to browser-level DNT signals, as there is no uniform technical standard for interpreting them.

We do not sell personal information. Our use of advertising cookies from Meta and LinkedIn (see Section 4b) may be considered “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. To opt out, you can block or delete these cookies through your browser settings, adjust your advertising preferences with Meta and LinkedIn, or contact us using the information in Section 13.

7. Data Retention

Contact form submissions are retained only as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry and manage our business relationship with you, or as required by law, including in our HubSpot CRM. Analytics data is retained in accordance with the default retention settings of the respective analytics platforms. Spam evaluation data processed by Akismet is subject to Automattic’s own retention policies.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any website you visit.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically for any changes. Your continued use of the Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
